Dear Friends of Ascendigo,
We are pleased to share exciting news with our community — Miranda Halverson will join Ascendigo as our Senior Director of Development on January 26, 2026.

Miranda brings a strong track record in fundraising, donor cultivation, and strategic partnership development. Most recently at arc Thrift Stores, she led a statewide volunteer program across 38 locations, secured $1.5 million in grant funding, implemented revenue-driving sustainability initiatives, and helped generate more than $9 million in annual payroll savings.
Her work reflects a rare combination of strategic vision, operational efficiency, and results-driven leadership.
With a professional background in business development, Miranda excels at building long-standing partnerships and strengthening systems that drive sustainable revenue and impact. She holds dual degrees in Economics and International Studies from the University of Wisconsin–Madison and has served on multiple statewide advisory boards.
Miranda resides in Carbondale with her husband and two daughters and is inspired by the vibrancy and energy of the Roaring Fork Valley.
“I am eager to deepen Ascendigo’s relationships, expand our philanthropic reach, and help advance our mission of empowering individuals with autism to thrive,” Miranda shared. “I am also looking forward to attending Ascendigo’s signature fundraising gala, Ascendigo Blue Aspen, on March 7 at the historic Hotel Jerome. I am excited to meet many of our families, donors, and supporters in person at this special evening celebrating impact and possibility.”
Please join us in warmly welcoming Miranda to the Ascendigo community. We look forward to the leadership, insight, and momentum she will bring as we continue to grow our impact together.
Sincerely,
Amy Grogan, President & CEO
