As summer unfolds, our campus is buzzing with energy as Summer Adventures Camp is officially underway! Each week, campers are building friendships, gaining confidence, and creating unforgettable memories through meaningful experiences in the mountains and beyond. It’s a joyful reminder of the transformative experiences that happen every day at Ascendigo and the incredible community that makes them possible.
Beyond the excitement of summer, I’m inspired by the continued momentum across our organization as we strengthen our team, broaden access to services, and deepen our impact for individuals and families. Please join me in congratulating Kevin Emory on his promotion to Director of Program Operations and Jeo Mendez on his promotion to Director of Vocational Services. Their leadership, dedication, and unwavering commitment to our mission are helping build an even stronger foundation for the future of Ascendigo.
We’re also excited to expand access to our Outreach and Clinical Services through the Early Start Denver Model (ESDM), with enrollment now open for children ages 0–6. Early intervention can have a profound and lasting impact, providing children with the foundational skills they need to thrive while equipping families with meaningful support. We are in the process of welcoming new families to both our ESDM and school-aged program, marking an exciting milestone in this next chapter of service. More importantly, it represents another opportunity to walk alongside families earlier in their journey, providing evidence-based supports when they can make the greatest difference. We look forward to celebrating milestones with these young learners and their families while continuing to expand opportunities for more children to build confidence, develop essential skills, and reach their full potential.
Thank you for being part of the Ascendigo community. Because of your partnership, we are strengthening programs, expanding access to life-changing services, and creating meaningful opportunities for individuals with autism to thrive at every stage of life. Together, we continue to elevate the spectrum, empower individuals, inspire lives, and shatter expectations.
With gratitude –
Amy Grogan, President & CEO
