Dr. Temple Grandin to Speak Presidents’ Day Weekend at Ascendigo Blue Aspen

Ascendigo Autism Services is thrilled to announce that renowned author, speaker, and autism advocate Temple Grandin will be the keynote speaker at our upcoming gala event, Ascendigo Blue Aspen, taking place on February 15, 2025 at the Hotel Jerome in downtown Aspen. This year’s event aims to raise awareness and funds to support individuals on the autism spectrum and their families.

Dr. Temple Grandin, who is herself diagnosed with autism, is a world-renowned expert in animal behavior and a professor of Animal Science at Colorado State University. She is best known for her innovative designs in livestock handling facilities and for her advocacy work that has changed the perception of autism around the globe. Through her unique perspective, Grandin has inspired countless individuals and families, showing that with the right support, individuals with autism can lead fulfilling and successful lives.

The gala will feature both a live and silent auction, dinner, and an opportunity to hear Dr. Temple Grandin share her personal journey and insights on autism.
