So Much to Celebrate. So Much Possibility Ahead.

As we approach the final months of 2026, I find myself reflecting on how much can happen when we stay curious, stay connected, and keep asking, “What’s possible?”

At Ascendigo, progress rarely looks the same from one learner to the next. Sometimes it’s a new skill or growing independence. Sometimes it’s confidence, connection, or finding a place where you belong & can thrive. These moments are at the heart of why we do this work and why we are so grateful for the learners and families who trust us, the team who brings this work to life, and the volunteers, donors, partners, and community who make it possible.

What sets Ascendigo apart is our ability to bring expertise, innovation, and agility to this work. We meet individuals where they are and stay focused on what matters most to them. We’re proud to support individuals across the lifespan and to create opportunities that extend beyond our walls, including programs that bring families from across the country and beyond to experience what Ascendigo has to offer.

As we look toward 2027, we’re carrying that same spirit forward. Our Board of Directors and Leadership Team recently came together to reflect on our growth and evolution and begin shaping the next chapter for Ascendigo. Our new three-year strategic plan will launch in January, building on more than two decades of experience and helping guide where we go next — with intention, clarity, and a continued commitment to what matters most.

We believe that exceptional services begin with a strong team. This fall, we’re investing in our staff through learning focused on wellness and sustainable approaches to managing stress and burnout. Our Leadership Team is also engaging with external expertise to strengthen how we lead and work together, building greater clarity, connection, accountability, and trust. We believe investing in our people is essential to creating the meaningful experiences and quality services learners and families deserve.

There are many ways to be part of Ascendigo as we close out the year, from Trunk or Treat and our upcoming 2027 Ascendigo Blue Aspen event to our new Vehicles for Charity initiative, Giving Tuesday, and Colorado Gives Day.

Thank you for believing in our learners and families, supporting our team, and helping us continue to elevate the spectrum. We’re grateful for your partnership and look forward to what’s next.

With gratitude,
