Mini Ranch Adventures
Looking for a fun and engaging experience for your little ones? This is a fun introduction to the ranch. Our Mini Ranch Adventures are perfect for children ages 2 to 5 years old! Kids will be able to interact with miniature ponies as well as learn safety and basic animal care and even ride a horse if they are comfortable.
Over four exciting days, your child will explore the wonders of nature, interact with friendly animals, and make new friends—all while having a blast! No autism diagnosis is needed to join; ALL children (ages 2-5) are welcome to create lifelong memories at the ranch!

Group Lessons
What: Weekly Group Lessons

Where: Crystal Springs Ranch
Who: Kids ages 5–11
Cost: $340.00 for a package of 4 lessons
Saddle up for an unforgettable after-school adventure! Our After-School Riding Camp offers a fun, safe, and supportive environment where kids ages 5–11 can learn the fundamentals of horseback riding while building confidence and friendships.
Each session includes:
- Hands-On Horse Care: Learn grooming, tacking, and horse safety.
- Riding Lessons: Small-group instruction tailored to your child’s skill level.
- Fun Activities: Games, barn chores, and horsemanship skills that create lifelong memories.
- Outdoor Adventure: Time in the saddle and in nature to connect with animals and the great outdoors.

Private/Semi-Private Lessons. Welcome to ALL!
Additionally, Private Lessons for any level/any age rider will be offered May-October when we aren’t running Ranch Camp/Summer Camp. To inquire about availability, please reach out to Sydney 970-948-6157.

Saturday Adventures Club (Fall)
Ascendigo’s Saturday Adventures Club (SAC) presented by FirstBank is a 12-week program in the fall offered to local Roaring Fork Valley families/ participants (ages 7-17). We accept drop-ins for families that might be traveling to the Roaring Fork Valley for a weekend. This one-of-a-kind program is dedicated to providing rewarding experiences to local youth on the autism spectrum or with other IDDs.
Saturday Adventures include lake activities, kayaking, horseback riding, climbing, local festivals, hiking and more!

Custom Care Adventures
Ascendigo now offers programming that is unique and tailored to your participant’s special interests and talents. Custom Care Adventures programming has a wide range of possibilities, and no dream is too big! Whether it be spending one day on the lake learning to wake surf, a weekend at the ranch therapeutic horseback riding, or a week-long ski trip, we’ve got you covered.
Programming is created and hosted by highly skilled, adaptive instructors with collaboration from you and your participant. To inquire about possible Custom Care Adventures, please reach out to Kayla Holthouse at kholthouse@ascendigo.org with questions or a sample schedule.
