Course Overview
Paint & Sway is a calming, expressive evening course that blends watercolor painting with gentle movement and dance. Each week, learners will explore both creative outlets—experimenting with watercolor techniques such as blending, washes, and brush control, while also engaging in simple rhythmic movement, stretching, and flow-based dance activities.

Staff will support participants through accessible art projects and guided movement routines, encouraging personal expression across both mediums. Learners may paint to music, translate movement into color, or reflect on emotions through both body and brush—creating a unique, multisensory creative experience.

The environment is intentionally peaceful and sensory-friendly, featuring soft lighting, soothing music, and a supportive atmosphere that helps participants slow down, regulate, and unwind. This calm space promotes mindfulness, body awareness, and emotional expression through two complementary forms of art.

Throughout the course, learners will build fine motor skills, practice following multi-step directions, strengthen gross motor coordination, and engage in meaningful self-expression. Paint & Sway offers a cozy evening space for creativity, movement, confidence, and community.
