Allison Freeman

Allison Blum Freeman is a dedicated advocate, volunteer, and proud mother whose family has been profoundly impacted by Ascendigo. She currently serves on Ascendigo’s Program and Development Committees and was recently appointed vice chair of the Program Committee. A graduate of Emory University (Political Science and Ecology) and Vermont Law School (JD), Allison has spent years volunteering in her community of West Hartford, CT, holding leadership roles in multiple PTOs, special education initiatives, and school programs.

Allison’s passion for supporting neurodivergent learners is personal: her son Cort gained confidence, independence, and joy through Ascendigo’s programs, inspiring Allison’s commitment to the organization’s mission. Known for her energy, advocacy, and problem-solving skills, she brings a combination of hands-on experience, strategic thinking, and heartfelt enthusiasm to the Ascendigo Board of Directors.
